As a copy editor for the Division of Life Science at HKUST (from 2021 to 2023), I edited and proofread:

I edited copy (and figures and tables when required) to ensure the writing was concise, clear, and consistent.
I also used editing tools and style manuals, adhered to journal style guidelines and scientific naming conventions, and researched terms and information as needed to ensure a high degree of consistency, organization, and accuracy.
Requested deadlines were often within 24 hours, and I always delivered on time.
