I offer writing and editing services to help you communicate your message the way it’s meant to be heard.
My services include:
- Blog post writing
- Website content writing
- Technical research and report writing
- Proofreading and editing
I’ve been writing since the days of the typewriter (remember those relics?), when I’d clank out my very first short stories. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the blogging world, writing about everything from lifestyle to travel, music, farming, the outdoors, and more.
To me, blogging is an art that requires getting to the heart of the matter with clarity, finesse and—when called for—a dose of inspiration. Writing in the voice of my clients is paramount to ensure their audiences receive an authentic reading experience.
Website Content Writing
I also create and edit other types of website content for my clients, whether it’s producing fresh team bios or revamping outdated website copy.
As a previous researcher in the criminal justice and health fields, I’ve done my fair share (read: over a decade) of more technical writing. That includes producing reports, briefs, grant proposals, and other communications products on some complex topics.
I’ll always be a researcher at heart, which means I’m meticulous, have an eye for detail, and know how to back up an argument. However, being both left- and right-brained, I can also step back and understand how the details fit together, ensuring your report presents strategic and big-picture thinking, if needed.
Proofreading and Editing
I can proofread your existing content to ensure spelling, grammar, and punctuation accuracy. I will also edit your writing for improved organization of ideas and content, so that what you want to communicate is presented in the clearest way possible.
Work With Me
Given my unique writing history, I have become a versatile writer who can pop on her fun, catchy writer’s cap or wear her more formal top hat, depending on what my client requires at the moment.
